26 years is a long time and so much can happen over the course of two and a half decades. Just look at how much the world has changed. In 1994, our year of foundation, the cost of a gallon of gas was $1.09, a movie ticket was $4.08, OJ Simpson was flying down the highway in his white Bronco, and iPhones weren’t even a thought.

We’ve been fortunate enough to witness the beautiful transformation of our world over the
last 26 years, while loyally taking care of your lawns and landscapes. It has truly
been an honor. While we have undergone many changes, our mission has always
remained the same. We have always strived to provide quality service while
maintaining our high values and standards.  

Intentional from the Start

When Chris Hargis and Bryan Berger started the company 26 years ago, they had no idea it would grow to be what it is today. But looking back, it all makes sense. We have been especially intentional about fostering an environment, unlike our competitors. We didn’t set out to develop a system focused on profit. We grew a family-focused on caring for each other and its customers.

Our Family and Our Growth

Our environment, here at Berger Hargis is so unique and we really pride ourselves on it. Not only are we a great company to work with, we are a great company to work for. Inside the four walls of our office, we love, care, encourage, and build each other up every single day. We always say that each morning we wake up, leave one family, and go to see our other family.

What we have at Berger Hargis doesn’t just happen overnight… It’s taken time, patience, effort, and skill to get to where we are today. As we look forward to this year and the many to come, we want to continue to grow our family. Not in numbers, but in quality, character, and ability. We want to continue to give customers the best all-around lawn care and landscape maintenance.
